Puffin Mechanical loves helping customers save money and the environment!
Paul T – HVAC Maintenance
Rob was great! In doing a routine inspection and maintenance of our heating system, he identified a gas leak that was potentially very dangerous. He quickly remedied the problem while also identifying several smaller areas of concern (with our duct work). Can’t recommend Puffin Mechanical high enough! 6 stars. (5-Star Google Review)
Laura D – New Water Heater
Puffin Mechanical came to our rescue the day after Thanksgiving when we had out of town guests. Rob and his coworker showed up 1st thing in the morning, assessed our water heater situation and had a new one installed by the afternoon. They were friendly, professional and efficient and wrapped our pipes better than they were before. Can’t thank them enough for the swift job they did!! Customers for life! (5-Star Google Review)
Mary Anne – Electric Heat Pump
I contacted two contractors to remove my gas heater and replace it with an electric heat pump. Despite being listed on the Dominion Energy website, one of the contractors was argumentative and tried to sell me something I didn’t need. The other contractor was Puffin. I can’t tell you how happy I was with Rob (the owner of Puffin) and his professionalism. He listened to me describe what I wanted, gave me a quote that…

Robert and Kelly are amazing people to work with! My AC went out and I called the company that installed it and they abandoned me and were no help. I called Kelly and within a few hours in the evening Robert came out and was able to find the issue within minutes and fixed everything quickly and was very professional and very affordable! I highly recommend them and will send all my future business their…

If I could give Puffin Mechanical a more than 5 star review - I would! 4th of July - HVAC went down... one phone call and boom - instant help. Got us back up and running and then came out to make sure the system was running well. Cannot say enough positive about the team!!!! So happy to have been introduced to this company. Patrick L – AC Repair
Our home AC went out while my wife and I were at work. My wife arrived home to the house at 90 degrees. We had another company come take a look. The tech looked around for 10 minutes and quoted us 11k for a new system. We called Puffin for a second opinion. Rob walked me through every step of the way, and after isolating each component, he determined with confidence that a new system…
Mark G – Commercial HVAC
Robert takes care of my commercial HVAC system at my office. On-time, professional and thorough. I will always do business with this company. If you call the main number there is a great chance you will speak with his wife. A true sweetheart. Great family owned business. (5-Star Google Review)

This team is great. I had an ac emergency at a rental property on a weekend. They made time to get to the property and fix the issue so the tenant was super happy. I can't thank them enough. (5-Star Google Review)
